WTSN (AM)

WTSN (1270 AM) is an AM broadcast station licensed to Dover, New Hampshire. It broadcasts with 5,000 watts of power. It currently is the only station in New Hampshire that broadcasts the New York Yankees. The station also carries select CBS Sports Radio programming, as well as live high school sports. Justin McIsaac is the sports director of the station, and Mike Pomp is the news director and hosts the award-winning Open Mic Show. Judi Currie anchors the morning news updates.
WTSN's most well known personality was Paul LeBlanc, who hosted the WTSN morning show for over 40 years, having started at WTSN in 1964. He retired on July 11, 2008, after 44 years with the station. The "Morning Information Center" is now hosted by Mike Pomp.
WTSN's weekend programming features Pat Kelly hosting "Open Mic: Weekend Edition", and Justin McIsaac hosting a sports talk show entitled "McIsaac on Sports".
WTSN was named the New Hampshire AM Radio Station of the year in 2006 by The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters. WTSN AM/1270 was named the 2007 New Hampshire Radio Station of the year by the same broadcast organization. The station added the Howie Carr Show on February 16, 2015.
In August 2015 WTSN and its sister station WBYY joined with Aruba Capital Holdings's WXEX and Port Broadcasting's WNBP and WWSF to form Coastal Media Partners, with Port Broadcasting management assuming immediate oversight of WTSN and WBYY.〔(Three New England Groups Merge Into Coastal Radio Partners ) Lance Venta, RadioInsight, August 31, 2015〕
